About Us

Coll Tire Distributors, Inc. has been a family-owned and operated wholesale tire business for three generations.  Coll Tire opened before WWII in Florence, PA just five miles North of its current location.

Originally focusing on new tire sales, as Coll Tire grew, we began producing recaps and quickly had over 100 employees, working three shifts, in our recap shop in Burgettstown, PA. With the decline of recapping passenger car tires, and the advent of radial technology, the recap shop was closed and the focus was returned to the sale of new tires. 

Hercules Tire was the first private brand carried and has been the mainstay of Coll Tire ever since.  We are now proudly owned and managed by the third generation and can distribute Hercules Sumitomo, Cordovan and other brands across West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
